General Policies

  • Check-in: 14:00 - 18:00
    Check-out: Until 10:00 hours

  • Age Restriction: The minimum age for check-in is 18.

  • This property is holiday accommodation and self-catering; rooms are not serviced. However, longer stays will have linen changed.

  • Transaction Fees: A 1% transaction fee applies for Visa and MasterCard payments, and 1.75% for American Express.

Cancellation Policies

Cancellation policies vary according to accommodation type.

In Peak Season

  • All bookings in peak periods or high season, including school holidays, public holiday weekends, Easter, and Christmas periods, are non-refundable.

  • A minimum of one night’s deposit is required to secure the accommodation, or payment in full may be requested.

  • Payment may be taken at any time after booking.

  • This applies to all rooms.

All Other Seasons

  • Queen Rooms, Studio Rooms, Family Interconnecting, and Standard Rooms:

    • Free cancellation is available until 2 days (48 hours) before arrival.

    • Cancellations within 2 days of arrival will be charged the total price of the reservation.

  • Two Bedroom Apartments:

    • Requires 14 days’ notice for cancellation.

    • Free cancellation is available until 14 days before arrival.

    • A one-night deposit is required to secure the booking.

    • The deposit will be forfeited if cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival.

  • Full payment will be taken 2 days before arrival for queen, studio, family interconnecting, and standard rooms.

  • For self-contained units, full payment is required up to 14 days before arrival.

Other Notes

  • No-show is non-refundable.

  • Early departure offers no refund.

  • Pets: Not allowed.

Additional Policies

  • Children: Guests aged 17 years and above are considered adults. For occupancy accuracy, include the number of children and their ages when booking.

  • Cot Hire: Cots are available for hire at $10.

  • Extra Guests:

    • Unregistered extra guests will incur a $30 per night fee.

  • Valuables: All valuables remain the responsibility of the guest.

  • Parking: Patrons park at their own risk.

  • Lost Keys: A $40 fee applies for lost keys.

  • No Smoking: An additional cleaning fee will apply if smoking occurs in rooms.

  • Pets: A $150 cleaning fee will apply if pets are found in rooms.

  • Refunds: Cancellations or early departures after check-in are not eligible for refunds.

Terms and Conditions

  • Guests registering at Pelican’s Nest are responsible for damages and loss of goods caused whilst occupying a room and will be charged accordingly from the credit card given at booking. Signature below acknowledges permission.

  • On arrival, if an extra person checks in and is not listed on the booking, a payment of $30 per night will be charged.

  • All valuables in guest rooms remain the responsibility of the guests while staying.

  • Patrons parking at Pelican’s Nest complex do so at their own risk.

  • Guests who fail to leave keys on departure will be charged $40 for replacement.

  • No Smoking: If smoking occurs, an additional cleaning fee is charged.

  • No Pets Allowed: A $150 cleaning fee applies if pets are found in rooms.

  • Cancellations or early departure after check-in will not be eligible for a refund.
